Enhancing Resilience Through Qualitative Assessments

We walked through the status of two major initiatives: the resiliency benchmarking survey and the new qualitative assessment tool. Both are designed to build a strong foundation for peer learning, planning support, and a more resilient future across our benchmarking community.

  • Benchmarking Survey: The benchmarking survey will be piloted with three companies (LCRA, PSE&G, NOVEC). They will provide feedback helping to refine the survey before opening it to the full group later this summer.

  • Qualitative Assessment: We introduced a comprehensive qualitative assessment with five categories, 17 focus areas, and 91 total elements. It uses a simple scoring system to reflect maturity levels across resiliency practices. The tool is intended to be a living document, evolving over time as we learn more from each other.
